For over three decades, Newport Adult Education has been an integral part of the Newport school system as well as the community. Elaine Kerley, Martha Parrott, Bonnie Thompson, Karen Riddle and Brenda Hall are the heart and backbone of the Learning Center's programs at Eighth and Columbia. From instruction to record keeping, the students always come first. The Newport staff is efficient, caring, encouraging, and willing to help students make things happen. Opportunities abound-don't miss the chance for a better future through Newport Adult Education.
Dayton Adult Learning Center and Family Literacy - When Kentucky combined Family Literacy with its already well-established Adult Education programs, Newport was fortunate to obtain such a great staff. They are a unique group of ladies with a variety of experiences who work well in all kinds of situations. For the last five years, they have successfully worked to build a solid and innovative program by going beyond the expected. Meet the group to be reckoned with-where there's a will, there's a way!
